Party On!

Just a little note about the Christmas party at our casa: remember that it's BYOC--bring your own chair! HaHaHa, we're not kidding! There's so many of us, and we haven't exactly picked out living room furniture yet, so bring a lawn/canvas fold out chair if you can. We've got plenty of living space to all fit in, but not enough furniture to seat everyone.

We're so excited about the fiesta! Wednesday evening the 13th come over whenever--most people will be working 'till 5p, i'm guessing, and will be here 5:30-6 ish.

We're doing a Chinese Christmas exchange, limit $20 max. If you find something cool for a buck, great! You can bring one gift as a couple, but I think most of us are bringing a gift each, so we all get the opportunity to steal something!

We're grillin' burgers Brandt-style (deer/beef combo), so if you have any beef (hahaha) against deer, let us know and we'll make you a bovine-only burger. You can't taste the difference, and deer's leaner for you point counters (like points matter at a Christmas party!) So let me know if ya'll are cool with bambi or not.

We'll have a sign up list at church on Sunday. We agreed at the Elrod's that wednesday to all bring something small (like burger fixin's, chips, soda, buns). So if you don't mind pitching in that way, sign up on Sunday or let me know, and if not, that's cool, too.

We'll provide sweets and snacks, and Serena's making a Christmas cake.

Oh, and if you have any good recipes, we're organizing a cookbook, so if you want to contribute, we have a drop box at church or you can bring them on wednesday or email them to creeksidecookin@hotmail.com. Be sure to include your name, 'cause it'll be published alonside your recipe.
